Southampton Orienteering Club

Is anyone interested in forming an SOC team for this local event? Min 4 people per team.

For those who don't know; Butser Hill is the steep one with a radio mast on the top, opposite the QE2 Country park, heading up the A3 from Portsmouth towards Petersfield.

The course involves 3 climbs up and down the hill, with an approx total climb of 450m and a distance of approx 6.5 km.

The main start is around noon. There is a time limit of 1.5 hours.

More details are available on the QE2 website (though sadly not a map of the course! - apparently you only get this after you have entered!!)
